An East African King Receives Three Emissaries, from a Khamsa of Amir Khusrau Dihlavi
The image depicts a scene with four men; one sits on a throne. The seated man on the throne wears a yellow robe and a head covering. He faces left. Three men stand on either side. The man on the far left wears a dark robe and head covering and faces right. The two men on his right wear similar dark robes and head coverings. All four men have orange faces and hands. The background of the scene the men are in is red with a blue and black bar across the top. A yellow section is on the left. The scene with the men is on a page with black writing in a language that uses Arabic script. The page is yellowed with age and has several tears. It appears to be a page from an old book, possibly a manuscript. The scene occupies the center of the page, with writing above and below.
