The Desk and Bookcase by artist is a tall, wooden piece of furniture with a reddish-brown color. The top section features two doors with gold handles, flanked by fluted columns, and a decorative pediment with a finial on top. The bottom section has a slanted writing surface and eight drawers, four on each side, with gold drawer pulls. The desk and bookcase has a small foot at each corner. The background is white with a shadow cast to the left.
