The image shows a wooden desk and bookcase by Nathaniel Gould. The desk and bookcase are made of polished dark wood with a reddish-brown color. The bookcase has a curved top with two small finials on either side. The bookcase top section has two doors with a carved design in the center. The doors are slightly arched at the top. The desk section has a slanted writing surface that folds down. There are two columns of drawers on either side of the desk, nine drawers total, with ornate gold hardware. The desk has a scalloped edge at the bottom and stands on four carved legs. The background is a plain gray color.
