The Sugar bowl by Wood and Hughes is silver with a wide base that tapers upward then flares out. Two handles protrude from either side near the top. The bowl features engravings of buildings on its front and sides, as well as decorative scrollwork and floral patterns. A finial on top of the lid depicts a man wearing a hat and holding an object. The top of the lid has a scalloped design. The entire piece sits on a round base with ornate details. The background of the image is gray.
