Gold-colored medal with long ribbon. Rectangular gold bar at top of ribbon with text. Ribbon underneath bar consists of 14 horizontal stripes, alternating between blue, white, and red. Text on stripes from top to bottom: Yorktown, Fair Oaks, Gaines Hill, Peach Orchard, Savage Station, White Oak Swamp, Glendale, Malvern Hill, Antietam, Fredericksburg, Scott's Mills, and Chancellorsville. Oval medallion below ribbon with gold embellishments. Medallion features cross with long rays on perimeter and circle inside with text. Laurel wreath around circle and rays. Ribbon tied in bow at top of medallion.
