The Officer's Gorget by The Metropolitan Museum of Art, depicts a semi-circular piece of metal with a rounded V-shaped top; black fabric flowers are attached on either side of the top; the metal has an etched crown at the top center; etched laurel leaves extend diagonally from either side of the crown; below the crown are etched capital letters "G R".
