

Sword Guard (<i>Tsuba</i>) With the Motif of Connected <i>Shippō</i> Elements (七宝繋ぎ透鐔)
Round, dark gray metal object with a lattice pattern. The lattice pattern consists of small, interlocking diamonds. A central oval shape has a long, narrow cutout in the middle and two oval cutouts on either side. The central oval shape has small, red numbers written vertically on the right side: 87 1 7 83. The object has a flat edge around the circumference. The background is white.
