Halberd

The Metropolitan Museum of Art

The image shows a halberd by an unknown artist, with a long, thin, pointed metal spearhead. The spearhead is attached to a cross-shaped piece with a curved crescent-shaped blade on the left side and a similar but slightly smaller curved blade on the right side. The metal is silver-colored with some darker spots and small areas of chipped or worn surface. The bottom of the handle is black and appears to be made of wood or another material. The background is a plain light gray color.
