Halberd

The Metropolitan Museum of Art

The silver-colored Halberd by artist Unbekannt features a long, thin blade that tapers to a point. The blade is attached to a decorative metal piece with a crossguard that has two curved extensions on either side resembling claws or wings. The crossguard has intricate designs with circular patterns and other shapes. A long black handle extends from the bottom of the metal piece, with three small gold circles visible near the bottom of the metal piece. The background is a plain gray color.
