Sword Guard (Tsuba)

Dark gray metal circular object with rounded edge; thick in center and thinning towards edge. Elongated oval shaped opening in center with oval protrusion on either side. Oval opening surrounded by relief design of four human figures among tree branches; two figures standing on left and right; one on left appears to hold stick; one on right holds cloth; two seated on bottom. Gold inlaid floral pattern along outer edge.
