Dark brown metal sword guard with rounded shape and wavy edge. Central oval-shaped hole for sword blade. Two mythical creatures, likely shishi or lions, on either side of the hole. Top creature appears to be looking forward, while bottom creature appears to be looking down. Both creatures have curly hair or fur and gold-colored eyes. Curly wave-like designs around the edge and on the creatures. Rust or patina visible on the surface.
