Composed Armor for Man and Horse

Missaglia workshop

The Metropolitan Museum of Art

The image features a suit of armor designed for both a man and a horse, created by the Missaglia workshop. The armor is made of metal and appears to be primarily silver in color. It has a breastplate that covers the torso, with a rounded top section and a lower section that tapers to a point. The breastplate is divided into sections by raised lines and features rivets along the edges and throughout. There are curved, pointed shoulder pieces on either side of the breastplate's top section. Two black straps are visible on either side of the top of the armor. The background of the image is light gray, providing a neutral contrast to the metallic armor.
