Boar Spear

The Metropolitan Museum of Art

The Boar Spear by artist is a silver-colored spearhead with a pointed tip. The spearhead is long and narrow, tapering to a point at the top, with a decorative design etched into its surface. The design features curved lines and shapes on either side of a central line down the middle. A small metal piece extends from the bottom of the spearhead with two small protrusions on either side. Below the metal piece is a handle wrapped in a material that appears to be brown leather or wood with some gold-colored material visible underneath. The background of the image is a plain light gray color.
