Sword Guard (Tsuba)

Oval-shaped sword guard, predominantly bronze in color with a patina that displays shades of blue, brown, and gold. Central feature is a large, elongated triangular hole for the sword blade. Decorations include a brown creature resembling a demon or beast with sharp teeth, positioned on the lower right side. The creature has a large eye and appears to be crouching. On the upper left, a gold-colored half-moon shape. The lower left features a spiral design resembling a basket or a snail shell, accompanied by gold-colored plant-like motifs. On the right side, additional gold-colored plant-like designs. Inscriptions are present on the left side of the central hole.
