The object is a brown tsuba with a scalloped edge. The tsuba has a central oval hole on the left and a more elongated hole on the right. The object features two centipedes and an insect. One centipede is on the upper right, a dark brown color with a long body and many legs. It faces downward. The other centipede is on the lower right. It is made of gold and has a similar shape but with a wavy line trailing behind. A beetle-like insect is on the bottom left. The background of the tsuba has dark brown spots and patches. The background behind the tsuba is light gray.
