Fasting Buddha Shakyamuni
The sculpture depicts Fasting Buddha Shakyamuni made of stone with a weathered appearance. The upper portion shows Buddha sitting cross-legged in a meditative pose with his hands resting on his lap. His body appears emaciated with prominent ribs and a sunken chest. The robe drapes down around his body and pools on the ground around him. The lower portion shows seven figures sitting in a row. The background fades from dark at the top to light at the bottom.
