The image depicts the head of a fish. The fish's body is cropped at the gills. The fish faces left with its mouth open. Its top half is blue-gray with a white eye ring, while its bottom half is beige. Two long, thick, brown filaments extend from the top of its head, curving up and back. The background is beige with Japanese writing in black and a red square stamp. A small white rectangle at the bottom center displays the year "1914".
