Breeches

The Metropolitan Museum of Art

Dark brown or black pants with a shiny fabric, possibly silk or satin. Waistband is folded over to reveal a beige interior. Five brass buttons on each side of waistband. Two belt loops on front. Cuffed bottom with gold trim. Small buttons on outside of legs near cuffs. No visible pockets or other embellishments. Breeches by unknown artist.
