The Portable Triptych Icon by Nicholas Roerich features three panels. The left panel depicts a crucifixion scene with Jesus on the cross and several figures standing around, including a woman in a pink robe. The middle panel shows a scene with multiple figures, including one on a white circle in the top center with several people around, and another figure on the bottom right wearing red. The right panel contains multiple scenes and figures, including two smaller images at the top right and a central figure wearing white. The panels have ornate borders with swirling patterns and inlays of mother of pearl or similar material. The background behind the icon is black.
