Halberd of the Bodyguard of Emanuele Filiberto (1528–1580), Duke of Savoy
Halberd of the Bodyguard of Emanuele Filiberto (1528–1580), Duke of Savoy: The image shows a halberd with a long, thin metal blade resembling a spearhead. The blade features a textured surface with visible signs of wear and tear. Below the blade, a decorative metal piece has a long, thin, pointed prong in the center and two curved sections on either side with etched designs and writing. The metal piece is attached to a long wooden pole with a dark brown corded wrapping at the top. A light brown tassel hangs from the bottom of the corded wrapping. The halberd is displayed on a wall alongside other similar weapons. The wall behind the halberd is white with a horizontal blue stripe.
