Spear

The Metropolitan Museum of Art

The spear, by an unknown artist, is a weapon with a long, thin, pointed metal head. The head is made of silver-colored metal and has a long, narrow, triangular shape with a pointed tip. Below the head are two shorter, wider, triangular shapes on either side and a longer one below, forming a cross-like shape. There are spots of discoloration and wear on the metal surface. The spearhead fills most of the frame. The background is a solid light gray color.
