Brigandine Plate

The Metropolitan Museum of Art

Dark brown metal plate with a wavy edge, wider at the top and bottom than in the middle. Two rows of small metal rivets with flower-shaped heads run down both sides, and a row of small holes with no rivets along the top. The lower right side has a small hole. The plate appears to be made of a dark brown, rusted metal. The background is plain and light gray. This is the Brigandine Plate by its artist.
