The Brigandine Plate by its artist is a brown rusted metal piece resembling a torso with a wide top curving inwards to a narrower bottom. Two columns of evenly spaced holes run down the center on either side. The background is gray. The metal has speckled and blotchy patches of rust. The top edge is rough and uneven.
