

Netsuke of Group of Noh Masks
Light brown Netsuke with six Noh masks on it. The Netsuke is cube shaped. Four masks on the sides are carved on rounded square panels. The bottom face has one eye closed and the other partially closed, and has wrinkles on the forehead and around the closed eye. The left face on the front has a long nose and mouth and frowning eyebrows. The right face on the front appears angry with bulging eyes and thick eyebrows. The top left face on the Netsuke has a bulbous nose and mouth and the top right face on the Netsuke has small closed eyes and a mustache. The bottom face has Asian characters carved on it between two holes. The background is grey.
