The tools and base are on a flat surface. The circular medal has a raised edge and text stamped into it. The top half of the medal has the text "GIO: LORENZO BERNINI OBIIT ROMAE" on the outer edge. The bottom half of the medal has the text "NEAPOLI MCMXCVIII" on the outer edge. The bottom of the medal has the text "- A ARNAUD SCULP - NAPOLI NELLA GALLERIA DI MUSEO QUANTO AVANZO". The medal casts a shadow on a light gray surface. The background fades from dark gray at the top to light gray at the bottom.
