The image shows a bronze-colored medal with a raised design on it. The medal is circular. The medal's outer rim has text that reads "MORTEM EST PRO PATRIA" at the top and "In MEMORY OF THE BATTLE AND MASSACRE OF WYOMING" at the bottom, with a star below. The center of the medal depicts a monument with a long obelisk on top of a square base; the monument stands in front of trees. The years "1778" and "1878" are engraved on either side of the obelisk. The medal casts a shadow on a gray background.
