Bronze-colored medal with a raised image of a soldier in a helmet and long coat, holding a rifle, with a bag on his shoulder. The soldier is posed on one knee, with his right arm extended upward and his left arm extended outward. The words "AU MARECHAL PETAIN" are raised at the top of the medal. On the left side, the words "ON LES AURA AVRIL 1916" are raised, and on the right side, the words "ON LES A NOVEMBRE 1918" are raised. The bottom of the medal features raised images of crosses. The numbers "19 22" are raised at the bottom center of the medal. The medal has a circular shape and a dark bronze color. The background of the image is gray, with a shadow underneath the medal.
