Rocky Inlet with Boats and Buildings (recto); Sketches of Castles (verso)
The image shows two sketches side by side. The left sketch depicts a landscape with a rocky inlet, featuring a large body of water with a small wave crashing against the rocks on the left. There are several boats on the water and buildings on the shore. Trees are scattered on the rocky shoreline. The sketch is rendered in shades of brown and blue. The right sketch, on a separate piece of paper, contains rough sketches of castles or buildings. One is tall and thin, another has a tower and a long wall extending to the right, and a third appears at the bottom. The sketches are done in brown ink. There are letters and numbers written on the paper, including "AYB" and some illegible cursive writing. A circular stamp is visible on the right edge.
