Andiron

Pair of andirons, titled "Andiron", by an unknown artist. Two black metal fireplace andirons side by side on a flat surface against a plain background. Each andiron has a base with three curved legs. The legs are attached to a long, low bar that extends to the left and right. A short vertical post is attached to the bar on the inside. The vertical post is topped with a decorative oval finial. The taller post in the center of each andiron is also topped with a decorative oval finial. The finials are egg-shaped with horizontal ridges. The andirons are symmetrical and identical. The image is in black and white.
