Pair of andirons, "Andiron", by unknown artist. Two metal fireplace andirons, each with a spherical finial on top of a turned post. The posts are mounted on a block with a small finial. Each andiron has a curved, three-legged base and a projecting arm that extends to the side. The arm is rectangular in cross-section and has a T-shaped end. The andirons are made of metal, possibly iron or steel, and have a dark, weathered appearance. The background is a plain surface, possibly a table or floor, with a light-colored wall behind the andirons.
