The finial is attached to a faceted diamond-shaped piece, which is on top of a twisted column. The column is on top of a faceted rectangular piece, which sits on a short column. The short column is on top of a base with a concave curve on its side that tapers down and attaches to four legs. The legs are curved with a scroll-like design and end in a ball.
