Staff Weapon

The Metropolitan Museum of Art

The Staff Weapon has a long, thin metal shaft with a three-pronged metal head. The prongs are triangular and taper to sharp points. Two circular holes are centered between the prongs. The metal shows signs of aging with a darker patina near the shaft and lighter near the prongs. A small metal loop and rivet are visible at the bottom of the shaft. The background is gray.
