Guisarme

The Metropolitan Museum of Art

The Guisarme by artist is a long, silver-colored medieval weapon with a long straight blade. A large, curved hook protrudes from the side of the blade near the tip. A smaller, pointed projection extends from the other side of the blade. A etched emblem is present on the blade near the handle, which features a light-colored material wrapped around it, and two gold-colored bands. The background of the image is gray on the left side and white on the right side.
