Guisarme

The Metropolitan Museum of Art

The Guisarme by artist is a long, silver-colored metal weapon with a pointed tip. The weapon has a long, thin blade with a slight tapering towards the tip. There are two protrusions from the side of the blade; one is a long, curved hook, and the other is a short, jagged piece. There are two metal flanges on either side of the blade near the bottom. The handle appears to have a black base with a silver metal collar. The background of the image is a plain gray color.
