The Metropolitan Museum of Art

The Guisarme by Carl F. Poensgen features a long, slender, pointed metal piece. The piece has a central, elongated, tapered shape with a sharp tip. Two lateral protrusions are visible, one on each side, with the lower one being larger and more pronounced on the right. A smaller, similar protrusion is present on the left. The piece has a worn, white or light-colored finish with some darker spots and minor scratches. The bottom portion of the piece is not visible. The background is a plain, light gray color.
